When a photographer takes your picture, there is so much more to getting a good image than pushing a button. Images straight out of the camera are not fit for purchase. Well, at least when I take them, they’re not! Some editing needs to be done. I still had some images of Sweetpea that I took for the agency that were not fit to send. At the time, I didn’t have the time to play around with them, but today Photoshop and I had a long conversation. I don’t claim to be the best at photo editing, but I know what looks good to me.

That represents 30 – 60 minutes of work. So when you see a photographers prices, remember: It’s not JUST about taking the picture.
