Review: Storm Warning – Billy Graham

Storm Warning was originally written in 1992.  However, due to various world events, Billy Graham has revised and updated it so as to be relevant to what is going on in the world today.  Using Scripture (not his opinion) as his guide, he shows how disasters, economic turmoil, wars, and other events are not the “storm”, but rather the “warning” that God is giving to let us know that times are coming to an end and judgment is forthcoming.  These warnings are not meant to harm us, but are meant to point us back to the Gospel.  The Gospel is that we are sinners, separated from God, and God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to give His life to pay the penalty of our sins and free us from the power of them.  All God wants us to do is acknowledge that we’re sinners, accept Christ’s sacrifice for our sins, and surrender our lives to Him. That message is very clear in this book.

Mr. Graham shares what he’s seen through his many years of experience in evangelism. This makes for a fascinating and powerful read.

Nicole, I love that about God's Word also. Even when it seems like everything is going crazy, we can be assured that God has a plan, and nothing will thwart it!
